For this soaring but comfortable South Florida home, designer Gil Walsh took her cues from the owners’ extensive and impressive art collection.
The pieces’ strong colors demanded a stark, gallery-like envelope, perfectly achieved with Benjamin Moore’s “Dove White.”
Strong prints were employed to counterbalance the entire composition, specifically a bold painterly floral with pops of cobalt blue set against a vermillion ground along with a lively embroidered ikat pattern for the dining chairs.
