Health and Sustainability Fair zdravo! Rijeka
The international zdravo! Rijeka (healthy! Rijeka) fair is a specialized event that attracts an audience interested in health, sustainability, and quality of life, as well as professionals and businesses seeking innovative solutions for projects and investments. From June 12th to 14th, it showcased a variety of products, services, and solutions focused on health and sustainability in personal and professional spheres: natural foods and cosmetics, active lifestyles, sustainable building and furnishing, green energy, eco-tourism, and innovations.
Over three days, the event united manufacturers, experts, and users dedicated to finding solutions for a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle. Visitors explored products related to sustainable construction, space furnishings, and healthy materials for contemporary interiors and exteriors.
Green Architecture and Interior Design for Wellbeing
The focus in architecture and interior design is on biophilic principles and their beneficial impact on occupants’ wellbeing.
Biophilic interior design is a creative way of designing and styling living spaces inspired by nature. This nature-themed design style is driven by the knowledge that we have an evolutionary need to be in or near the natural world.
Key features include natural light, ventilation, seasonal color palettes, and greenery of various forms and sizes. Natural materials like wood, stone, cotton, and linen, along with shapes inspired by the natural world, are vital.
At zdravo! Rijeka, interior designers, architects, product designers, design schools, and furniture brands showed how to design spaces that promote wellbeing.
