Recently, I had the pleasure of going on a press trip to Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, powered by HONOR. Amid the lovely winter scenery of this famous Slovenian travel destination, we (journalists, technology experts, and celebrities from the Adriatic region) tested the capabilities of the HONOR Magic8 Pro and HONOR Magic8 Lite smartphones. HONOR Magic8 Series Experience in Kranjska Gora
Our HONOR Magic8 Series Experience began at the Kranjska Gora Hotel with a welcome speech by Mr. Hong Xiaoyang – Eric, General Manager of HONOR Croatia and Slovenia. It continued with a presentation by sports photographer Nejc Ferjan and top extreme athletes Franko Bajc and Denis Porčič, also known as Chorchyp. Nejc, Franko, and Denis shared their experiences with the HONOR Magic8 Series smartphones, after which they invited us to an Impact Test to push the limits of the smartphones in real-world conditions. A radio host and actor, Klemen Kopina, moderated the event.
The Impact Test included testing the durability of the HONOR Magic8 Lite in ice-cold water and during various sports activities, including darts. By the time this phone reached my hands, it had already passed multiple challenges (and still looked great for the photoshoot I planned).
Styling for the Photoshoot of the HONOR Magic8 Lite
As a design and travel communications professional, I create stylish scenes for various kinds of photo and TV shoots. On this press trip, I was thinking about designing a scene for a photo shoot of the smartphones. The HONOR Magic8 Lite in Forest Green color harmonizes with the floral background of my bag. The floral pattern suits the forest theme, and the lilac color (light, pastel purple with a touch of pink) is a great match for green. According to color therapy experts, lilac is relaxing and optimistic, and green calms the mind, body, and spirit. Together, this color duo creates great vibes.
Speaking of Forest Green, what does having a smartphone in this color say about your personality? According to color psychology experts, people who love the green hue excel at creating an oasis of peace and relaxation in which they can distance themselves from everyday stressful situations. Taking Photos with HONOR Magic8 Pro
Creating content for the design and travel industries – taking and editing photos and videos are part of my work (and my hobby). So, I am very interested to know what the Pro model offers.

Smartphones in the Ice Waters of Lake Jasna
Our next destination was the peaceful winter scenery of Lake Jasna, which is one of Slovenia’s best-known lakes and among the top tourist attractions in Kranjska Gora.
In a photogenic winter setting, at the interactive workshop, sports photographer Nejc Ferjan showed us how to take impressive shots of the Alps with the HONOR Magic8 Pro.
Top extreme athletes Franko Bajc and Denis Porčič, also known as Chorchyp, and a radio host and actor, Klemen Kopina, tested the devices in the freezing waters of the lake. The HONOR Magic8 Lite thus proved its resistance to low temperatures and in direct contact with the snow and cold water of Lake Jasna.
