One of the largest and most influential architecture and construction fairs in the region, ArhiBau 2025, is returning stronger than ever, evolving into a true celebration of the profession! ArhiBau 2025 is breaking out of conventional boundaries—not just spatially, but also generationally. Across four days, the event becomes a platform for open dialogue between the profession and society.
The central theme of the fair and professional conference is: “Housing for a Sustainable Community – Experiences and Guidelines,” which addresses key contemporary challenges and opportunities related to the planning, construction, and management of sustainable, energy-efficient, and affordable housing in Croatia and the wider region.
This year, special emphasis is placed on engaging students and high school pupils as drivers of new ideas, and on connecting professionals through creative and sports hubs. A significant new highlight is the ArhiBau CUP 2025 – a sports tournament in football and volleyball featuring teams from architectural and construction studios, contractors, universities, and industry organisations from across Croatia.

The central topic of ArhiBau and its professional conference is housing for a sustainable community. As the cost of living continues to rise, the conference will offer a series of expert and thought-provoking lectures, panel discussions, and presentations, addressing current issues in housing, public investment, and spatial development.
Particular focus will be placed on international case studies from Austria, Slovenia, and Denmark—countries leading the way in affordable, high-quality housing models.
Key themes will include planning and development of residential neighbourhoods, spatial standards and equipment, sustainable construction systems, and regulatory and investment frameworks for public and private building projects.
The conference aims to open a space for long-term dialogue on how to ensure quality, affordable, and sustainable living spaces for all.
