Take a Picture in the Company of the Girl with the Seagull

A few weeks ago, I went for a sightseeing walk along sunny Opatija. Among the first sights that greeted me in this top travel destination was a symbol of Opatija: the statue of the Girl with the Seagull.
The Girl with the Seagull is the most famous statue in Opatija. This artwork by sculptor Car was erected here in 1956 and has become one of the symbols of this artistic Croatian town and one of the most photographed attractions. So, when visiting Opatija, be sure to take a picture with this lovely statue and create your personalized postcard. I took photos of this photogenic piece of art from various angles to show you.
