As part of the twelfth edition of the largest tourism fair in Croatia, PLACE2GO, which will be held this year from March 28 to 30 at the Zagreb Fairgrounds, visitors will be introduced to over 200 exhibitors from numerous countries, including Algeria, Sierra Leone, Burundi, Madagascar, India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Finland, Lithuania, Italy, Hungary, the United States of America, Germany, Kosovo, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Montenegro and Croatia.
The fair is divided into two segments this year – B2B (which will take place on Friday) and B2C, which will last all three days of the fair. Over the past years, the fair has attracted more than 137,000 visitors and hosted more than 720 exhibitors from 39 countries, making it a major event for both business and all other visitors.
“This year’s fair will showcase an incredible diversity of destinations and travel experiences, with exhibitors from all over the world, and for the first time in the B2B section, representatives from Finland, Germany and Sierra Leone are participating. In addition, we are particularly excited to introduce new program segments such as the Kids Corner, which aims to inspire the youngest about the importance of sustainability and environmental protection through educational workshops on Croatian national and nature parks. Dual Experience – from the Meeting Room to Getting to Know New Travel Destinations
This year, the international tourism fair PLACE2GO will once again begin with a B2B day, during which numerous business experts from the field of tourism will be able to hold meetings in Pavilion 7A of the Zagreb Fair from 10 am to 4 pm. Participation requires a registration fee via the Entrio system, which provides participants access to the B2Btalks web application, where they can register, create personal and company profiles, and connect with other experts, workshop participants, and exhibitors. The ticket also provides access to the exhibition area and all presentations throughout the fair, as well as food and drinks in the B2B zone.
This year, the fair will be open to all visitors on all three days in Pavilion 7 of the Zagreb Fair from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Entrance will require tickets – one-day or three-day tickets, which can be purchased through the Entrio system and at the entrance to the fair, with discounts for pupils, students, and pensioners.

Workshops for Children and Travel Market at PLACE2GO
In collaboration with the Family Welcome web portal and partners – national parks, nature parks, and heritage interpretation experts, the Kids Corner will host many creative and educational workshops for children over the weekend. The number of participants per workshop is limited to 20, so children should register in advance for the workshops, while Young Explorers (7-12 years old) and Curious Eyes (4-7 years old) will be able to participate in interactive activities, virtual adventures, creative tasks, and fun games that will help them learn more about key topics such as water conservation, exploring the underground and above-ground world, and protecting marine organisms. They will meet large animals, learn more about the role of bats, discover the secrets of fascinating puddles, learn how to sort waste, assess water quality, keep a nature journal, and hear historical stories about brave sailors.
As part of the unique Travel Market, visitors will have the opportunity to purchase attractive travel packages with fair discounts for numerous destinations that will be presented in Zagreb.
