9th Pink Day – Rosé Wine Festival, and Green in Pink – Extra Virgin Olive Oil Festival – you will be able to enjoy rosé wines and rosé atmosphere, with a touch of olive-green, on May 21st and 22nd in Lauba – House for People and Art.
A press conference was held in Lauba announcing the 9th Pink Day – a festival dedicated to rosé wines (along with its “festival within a festival” dedicated to extra virgin olive oil) GREEN IN PINK by Romerquelle / official water of the festival. This year, the festival is held for the first time in a duration of two days: on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 May 2022 in the beautiful Lauba – a house for people and art in Zagreb, Croatia.
In a relaxed atmosphere with Bottega prosecco, pink socializing with the media began. The program and novelties of the festival were presented. After the official part, which also took place spontaneously with a good atmosphere of journalists, editors, and Women On Wine members – we finally enjoyed fine snacks and Kutjevo rose wine!
Pink Mixology – Pink Gins, Tonic Waters, and Cocktails
The founder and director of the festival Sanja Muzaferija addressed the esteemed media and announced, along with exhibitors of rosé wine and olive oils, a great novelty – Pink Mixology, a story in which visitors will be able to taste pink gins, tonic waters, and cocktails!
Rosé Wine, and Olive Oil Workshops, Wine Tasting
In addition to wine tasting, as always on Pink Day – educational activities and entertainment are offered. The program of rosé wine workshops is interesting, as well as olive oils and Pink Mixology. *The schedule of workshops and applications for them can be found below in the article.
The #IjaSamDomaćica (I am also a housewife) campaign of sponsors and partners of Pink Day was also presented. Marina Knežević, director of the Kraš company marketing department, also addressed the media members. It is a socially responsible project that aims to raise awareness in society that women in every business, including enology, winemaking, olive growing, journalism, law, management, etc, in addition to their regular work, also take care of the household. It is important to remind that the job of a housewife is very demanding and complex and that in our society there is a lot of room for improvement when it comes to a fairer distribution of household chores among all family members.

PINK DAY will once again gather a large number of visitors dressed in pink or accessorized with pink, eager to socialize – especially after everything that has happened to us recently – said Zrinka Jelic – Belinic, Executive Director of the Festival.
Promoting Viticulture and Olive Growing
The friend festival this time is VAPT, and Pink Day is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Croatia. At the conference, the envoy of the Minister of Agriculture, Ms. Sandra Zokić, Director of the Directorate for Agricultural Land, Plant Production and Market, addressed the media and expressed satisfaction that the PINK DAY festival is working to promote viticulture and olive growing.
After Party
Last but not least, the After Party, in collaboration with Lauba, will take place outdoors – in front of Lauba after the end of the exhibition on the first day of the festival, on Saturday at 19:00, with a music program and pink drinks.
