Green Living Design and Fabriqa are Croatian brands that furnish and decorate interior spaces with designer furniture and artistic vertical gardens, bringing comfort and beauty to your home. Their joint stand at Ambienta harmonized colors, forms, and materials, making it Archi-living.com’s and Design & Travel Communications’ pick for the Most Beautiful Stand.
The Best Brand-Building Stand
Masiv Club is a Croatian brand that manufactures custom-made kitchens, tables, and cabinets. Beyond its well-designed wooden furniture, the brand’s fair stand featured a photo corner with playful props for social media posts. Visitors received creative gifts, each accompanied by a witty saying. For these reasons, Archi-living.com and Design & Travel Communications picked their stand as the Best Brand-Building Stand.
The Most Promising Newcomer Brand
The Most Promising Newcomer Brand is Uniq, Designed by Nature. As the brand’s name suggests, Uniq, Designed by Nature, handcrafts solid wood tables in Bosnia & Herzegovina, bringing nature’s beauty into home design. As the brand representatives state, their commitment to nature goes beyond design. For every table purchased, they plant a tree.
The Most Creative Furniture Brands
The Most Creative Furniture Brands are Tabushi® by Lidija Mikluš and Dudica by Stolarija Rusan.
Lidija Mikluš, the leading designer, created the Croatian brand Tabushi® as an innovative, colorful adventure. The design and production of designer tabouret stools, furniture, home products, and accessories draw on Japanese inspiration and Croatian imagination.
Dudica by Stolarija Rusan is a Croatian manufacturer of educational toys and bespoke furniture for kids’ rooms and playrooms (indoor and outdoor). They create toys and furniture with specific colors, shapes, and materials designed to spark children’s curiosity and focus their attention on specific learning areas, in line with Maria Montessori’s philosophy (the Montessori educational method).
The Best Lighting Products

Ambienta, the 53rd International Fair for Furniture, Interior Design, Construction, and Sustainable Energy Solutions
Ambienta, the 53rd International Fair for Furniture, Interior Design, Construction, and Sustainable Energy Solutions, took place at the Zagreb Fair from October 1st to 4th, with 139 exhibitors from 22 countries presenting their offerings. The fair’s program focused on four key areas: Furniture and Design; Prefabricated and Modular Homes; Smart Home and Energy Solutions; and Interior and Exterior Design.
#ApartmentForTomorrow (#StanZaSutra)
A special highlight of this year’s Ambienta was the socially responsible project #ApartmentForTomorrow (#StanZaSutra), carried out in cooperation with the City of Zagreb and SOS Children’s Villages Croatia. JYSK was the main partner, alongside participating companies Chromos, Elgrad, FEAL Keramika, Gorenje, Gorica Staklo, Konzum, Masiv Club, ROCKWOOL, SG Forma, and VIVAX.
A realistic, 101-square-meter replica of an apartment was constructed and fully furnished at the fair. Following the event, all the furniture and equipment were relocated to a city-owned apartment in Novi Jelkovec, which will become the new home for three young men from the semi-independent living program of SOS Children’s Villages Croatia.
Professional Program: Market, Construction, and Design
A professional and supplementary program was held throughout the four-day event. The program covered topics such as the real estate market, sustainable construction, digitalization, architecture, and interior design. The BravaCasa Design Awards, which recognized excellence in design and sustainability, were presented. Among the recipients was our colleague from the Community of Interior Designers (ZADIN), architect Iva Klepo Lepur.
Visitors had access to free, one-on-one consultations with architects and designers, and the final day featured a discussion with Lidija Tomas Matijević and creative workshops hosted by De Colores Studio.
