In an authentic winter setting, guests tested the devices in extreme conditions, accompanied by sports photographer Nejc Ferjan and top extreme athletes Frank Bajc and Denis Porčič, also known as Chorchyp. HONOR Magic8 Pro seamlessly connects revolutionary AI solutions with top performance and an intuitive AI agent. Intended for creatives and technology enthusiasts, the Pro model combines the world’s fastest processor (Snapdragon® 8 Elite) with the revolutionary AiMAGE camera system. The HONOR Magic8 Pro features the most advanced AI telephoto system in the industry, comprising a 200MP night telephoto camera with a large 1/1.4-inch sensor, an f/2.6 aperture, optical stabilization (OIS), and a 3.7x optical zoom. Creative possibilities are further expanded by the main 50 MP Ultra night camera (f/1.6, OIS) and 50 MP ultra-wide camera (122°, 2.5 cm HD macro), which ensure precise tones and natural portraits.
Thanks to the HONOR AI model of adaptive stabilization, users have a seven times greater chance of capturing excellent zoom photos, even without a tripod. The HONOR Magic8 Pro achieves CIPA 5.5 level stabilization, which is currently the most stable system in the industry, as well as four times more accurate shake detection and twice as fast dynamic response.
The device also premieres Magic Color, the first AI color processing system in the industry, which intelligently extracts 16.77 million colors, precisely adjusts the overall tonality of the image, and the smallest details. This ensures a high-quality output file in real time. In addition to shooting itself, AI Photos Agent allows you to edit and process photos with one touch or a voice command. These include AI Eraser, AI Outpainting, and AI Cutout functions. The new AI button enables instant camera launch with a double tap, even when the screen is locked.

HONOR Magic8 Pro introduces the industry’s first technology that uses GPU and NPU for AI super-resolution and frame generation, which transforms low-resolution, low-framerate games into a high-quality experience. This allows demanding games to achieve 120 fps at 1080p resolution, even though the native display was 60 fps at 850p. A 6,270mAh silicon-carbon battery ensures all-day use, while 100W wired and 80W wireless HONOR SuperCharge enable ultra-fast power recovery.
The 6.71-inch LTPO OLED display supports a variable refresh rate of 1-120Hz and achieves a peak brightness of up to 6,000 nits (world’s highest to date: 1,800 nits). Integrated eye-protection technologies (Chip-Level AI Defocus Display, Dynamic Dimming, Circular Polarized Display 2.0, and Circadian Night Display) simulate natural viewing conditions, while 4320Hz PWM Dimming reduces screen flicker and ensures maximum eye comfort.

MagicOS 10 delivers superior readability across the lock and home screens, control and notification centers, and apps like Contacts and Notes. The upgraded HONOR Share feature enables two-way file transfer between Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows devices. It also features the most advanced device cloning on the market, making it as easy as possible to switch from an iPhone to a new HONOR device.

Enhanced by HONOR Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Technology, new non-Newtonian materials, and ultra-hard tempered glass, HONOR Magic8 Lite is built to withstand the bumps and drops of everyday life. It is the first in the industry to be certified by SGS Triple Resistant Premium Performance and SGS 5-Star Comprehensive Reliability, confirming its resistance to drops, water, and dust. It has been tested to withstand drops from heights of up to 2.5 meters, and with IP68 and IP69K certifications, it can easily withstand washing, dirty water, and even high-pressure and high-temperature water jets.
Revolutionary Battery for “Era 8”
With a silicon-carbon battery of 7,500 mAh, leading in the industry, HONOR introduces the so-called “Era 8” in smartphone battery technology. All of these technologies work together to reduce eye strain during long-term use.

The device is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 platform, which delivers improved CPU and GPU performance compared to the previous generation. HONOR RAM Turbo technology provides an experience equivalent to 16GB of RAM (8GB physical + 8GB virtual memory). A range of AI features for photography, translation, annotation, and smart interaction further facilitate everyday use. HONOR Magic8 Pro is available in Croatia in Sunrise Gold and Black, and in the 12 GB + 512 GB variant, at a suggested retail price of EUR 1,299.00.
HONOR Magic8 Lite comes in Midnight Black and Forest Green. Its suggested retail price is EUR 399 (8 GB + 256 GB option) and EUR 429 (8 GB + 512 GB option).
Both devices are on sale from January 15th at authorized retail partners and operators.
