The tribute is to the great tradition of Italian sculpture: from Ancient Rome to the Renaissance, Baroque, and Neoclassical periods, and to the masters who shaped the highest artistic expressions by hand-carving entire blocks of marble. Palace, a collection composed of a washbasin and bathtub, draws on a millennia-old culture, the refined design of Christophe Pillet – who defines its forms – and the artisanal expertise of Kreoo, which perpetuates a secret knowledge and extraordinary dedication in shaping stone. The Three-Dimensional Texture Takes Center Stage in the Palace Collection’s Washbasin and Bathtub

In Palace, the three-dimensional texture takes center stage. Handcrafted with a chisel and finely engraved, it builds on the experimentation the designer had already explored in the Mercy and Dawn collections, bringing it into a balanced synthesis: the vegetal motif is stylized, with unfolding leaves.

As it evolves, it generates a sequence of vertically carved, subtly dynamic lines that accompany the surface of the product, making it unique. They resemble fans and interlock delicately with one another, framed by smooth upper and lower borders that complete the design concept of the freestanding washbasin, with its cylindrical section, and the bathtub, an elegant, flared oval basin.

“With Palace, the triptych is complete,” explains Christophe Pillet, who continues: “The exploration and celebration of Kreoo’s manufacturing heritage and Italian culture takes various forms throughout the creative process, sometimes figurative, sometimes geometric. Palace is both: a refined, unique creation that goes far beyond the specific function for which it was designed.”

Designed for large-scale residential and hospitality projects and available in Bianco del Re, Palace becomes a work of art within its setting, an object that captivates through its artisanal craftsmanship, its tactile softness, and the refinement of its embossed texture.
