From renewable materials to smart solutions: new trends for environmentally conscious housing – Ambienta 2025.
The 52nd Ambienta, International Fair of Furniture, Interior Decoration, Construction, Low-Energy Prefabricated Building, and Hotel and Restaurant Equipment will be held from September 25 to 28 at the Zagreb Fair. It will bring together domestic and international companies and experts from various sectors, including manufacturers, distributors, designers, architects, builders, and end consumers, providing a platform for the exchange of the latest trends and innovations in the industry.
Ambienta 2025: the Focus on Sustainability, Renewable Building Materials, Energy-Efficient Construction Systems, and Smart Housing Solutions
The exhibition space comprises nine thematic units: Furniture and Decoration, Design Zone, Smart Home, Hotel and Restaurant Equipment, Sustainable Construction, Low-Energy Prefabricated Building, Art Box, Art Street, Ambienta, and Museums.
A Rich Selection of Furniture and Home Furnishing Solutions
This year, the focus is on sustainability, renewable building materials, energy-efficient construction systems, and smart housing solutions. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of products from renowned manufacturers covering all aspects of home furnishing, from furniture to energy-efficient appliances.
Under one roof, you will find a comprehensive range of products for equipping every area of your home, from living rooms and bedrooms to kitchens, bathrooms, and even office spaces. Exhibitors will showcase their newest collections, which combine outstanding aesthetics with functionality, with a special emphasis on innovative design and high-quality craftsmanship, thus making Ambienta one of the most important furniture industry events in the region.
Leading Conferences and a Professional Programme at Ambienta 2025
This year’s Ambienta features an exceptionally rich professional programme, where leading experts will share their knowledge and experience, offering practical solutions and real-world examples. Among the many lectures and panel discussions, we wish to highlight two conferences: “Construction and Investments 2025” and “I Want a Lift!“.
The conference “Construction and Investments 2025“, organized by Zagreb Fair, will gather key stakeholders from the construction sector, opening a dialogue about the future of the industry. Discussions will focus on sustainable and responsible building practices, including economic conditions, technological innovations, and workforce employment challenges.
The conference “I Want a Lift!” jointly organized by Zgradonačelnik and Zagreb Fair is intended for co-owners, building managers, elevator installation and maintenance companies, designers, and financial institutions, providing them with insights into the solutions and challenges related to elevator installation and maintenance at a time when the government has secured nine million euros for co-financing over the next three years.
Innovations and Special Humanitarian Projects
For the first time at Ambienta #StanZaSutra will be showcased – an apartment fully furnished with sustainable furniture, appliances, and décor. After the fair, in cooperation with partners, Zagreb Fair will donate all the apartment’s equipment to a residential community for young people without parental care, providing them with a safe and eco-friendly living environment.
An entire pavilion of the fair will be dedicated to innovations in sustainable construction, ranging from environmentally friendly materials to energy-efficient systems. Addressing the challenges of modern life, low-energy prefabricated buildings will also be featured. Exhibitors will equip such homes with solar power plants and heat pumps, thus presenting sustainable housing solutions that utilize renewable energy sources.
Within the scope of the exhibition zone dedicated to hotel and restaurant equipment, exclusive events are being prepared in collaboration with the Croatian Chefs Association, transforming Zagreb Fair into a hub of high-end gastronomy. A highlight of the programme is the prestigious international competition Bocuse d’Or/WorldChefs, and visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of tastings.
Following the successful cooperation last year, Ambienta will once again partner with museums. In addition to the Klovićevi dvori Gallery, lots of fun and laughter will be provided by the exhibits from the Museum of Laughter, the Museum of Illusions, and the Museum of Travel.
