Fall 2016 brings several design trends to the Miami Design District, but not all of them are brand new. In fact, some, such as our favorite – mixed metallics – have been in the works for years, but this season’s design climate has taken it to new heights. With new collections from many of our favorite brands, we couldn’t help but take note of certain elements that are going strong.
NIBA Home has curated a mix of modern and eclectic metallic products from some of our favorite design studios – Gentner Design, Luis Pons, VeniceM, and AKMD for both the trade and retail customers to enjoy. We like to think that we bypass the expected and the ordinary to add something fresh to your next project. Explore the NIBA Home vision.
Mondrian Chandelier by VeniceM (Cover)
Spare and architectural, the Mondrian sports white Murano globes on its burnished brass frame.
T Tables and Dischi Drink Table by Gentner Design
Playful T Tables group as desired, and are a great contrast to the Bertoia-like pattern of the Dischi surface. The T Tables are darkened stainless steel and the Dischi is a brass sculptured top with darkened stainless steel legs.
Tube Desk Light by Gentner Design
Possibly the perfect desk lamp, this sleek LED light comes in blackened steel or brass.
Curved Frame Cabinet by Luis Pons
Picture moldings applied to a curved wooden cabinet appear as a luxe barcode pattern. Metallic and stained decorative moldings – applied to a wooden case, and tapered brass legs.
Thicket Console by AKMD
A loose symmetry of tapered legs in satin brass supports a thick walnut top, creating a spare, organic silhouette.
