“Her green mind made the world around her green.” Wallace Stevens, Archi-living.com

Plant a flower, plant a tree, and grow a beautiful garden. Plants are known as the planet’s first line of defense against climate change. For instance, through photosynthesis, vegetation in the soil absorbs about a third of all carbon emissions yearly. Also, trees and other plants can lower ambient temperatures, reducing energy consumption for air conditioning.

Flowering plants attract pollinators (insects and other animals), which have an essential role in sustaining the plant world. Also, a large percentage of our food, including fruits and vegetables, is created with the help of pollinators – birds, bees, and butterflies.
