Terrazza – Crafting Bespoke Kitchens in a Small Family-Run Workshop
Terrazza is a Croatian furniture brand from Pula in Istria, a beautiful Croatian region with a long tradition of tourism and well-known for its amazing outdoor spaces and rich gastronomy. Brand founders Marina and Dean set out to weave together this legacy with their years of experience and passion for crafting bespoke kitchens in a small family-run workshop. From that union, a name that says it all emerged—Terrazza (terrace): a brand devoted to manufacturing high-end, sustainable outdoor solutions, with kitchens at its heart.
Terrazza brings forth designer furniture pieces, the meeting of masterful craftsmanship and innovation. Most furnishings are made from local Croatian materials, Istrian stone and Slavonian oak, chosen for their durability and natural beauty. Sustainability and longevity guide the design: wood may age gracefully, allowing for individual elements to be repaired or replaced, thus extending the life of each furniture piece. Their appearance at EuroCucina 2026 – Salone del Mobile.Milano marks the brand’s first step onto the international stage.
SOL Outdoor Kitchen, Designed by Studio Ru:t
The SOL kitchen is Terrazza’s first creation. The design of this outdoor kitchen is minimal and grounded in the warmth of locally sourced natural materials, Slavonian oak, and Istrian stone.
To ensure lasting strength, an innovative method of joining the front slats was developed—one that avoids adhesives entirely. In this way, the wood is allowed to breathe, preventing warping and the unexpected cracks that time can bring. SOL kitchen is conceived as a modular system, with units in widths of 40, 60, 90, and 120 cm, complemented by a generous 90 cm sink carved from a single block of stone.
To preserve the wood’s natural texture, protective oils for outdoor furniture are applied seasonally. On the inside, shelves and drawer interiors are crafted from durable water-resistant plywood, finished with a 1.2 mm high-pressure laminate, while all hardware is made of stainless steel.
LIMONI Collection, Designed by Studio Ru:t
The idea of a durable outdoor kitchen that requires minimal care inspired the creation of the Limoni collection. Its structure and worktop are made from highly resistant 316 stainless steel, while the interior consists of waterproof plywood clad in 1.2 mm high-pressure laminate. The work surface and sink remain in the natural tone of brushed steel, while the fronts, sides, back panels, and structure are finished with electrostatic powder coating. The outdoor kitchen collection comes in three widths—120, 180, and 240 cm—and can be either semi-open or fully enclosed.
Studio Ru:t designed it with practicality in mind: the lower segments can be disassembled and flat-packed, and the upper section is crafted as a one piece because of the countertop. The collection may be complemented by mobile carts, serving as an additional preparation space or for transporting food and tableware.
