The 11th Edition of the Pink Day Zagreb Festival Is Approaching

A press conference was held in Lauba, Zagreb, where it was announced that the 11th Pink Day festival will be held in Lauba on Saturday, April 20th, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with more than 150 rosé wine labels from Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia, Serbia, Italy, France…. as well as exhibitors of olive oil at the “Green in Pink” powered by HTZ (Croatian Tourist Board) festival and exhibitors at the mini-festival “Pink Mixology” where visitors will be able to taste pink cocktails. The director and founder of the Pink Day Zagreb festival, Sanja Muzaferija, in the presentation of the program, pointed out that this year’s partner country of the festival is Hungary, and the cultural attache in Croatia of the Hungarian Cultural Center – Liszt Institute, Thuróczy Zoltán addressed the press audience. Slavija Jačan Obratov, Director of the Sector for Tourist Board System and Product Development addressed the gathered journalists on behalf of the Croatian Tourist Board.

After the official part of the conference, in partnership with the Kutjevo winery, the top Rosé 2023 and Rosé Premium 2023 were presented. At the very beginning, the attendees tasted the Kutjevo rosé sparkling wine, which delighted everyone. The guests also enjoyed the delicious salty and sweet snacks provided by the Amelie patisserie.

Pink Day Festival Program – Eight Workshops and Masterclasses

The only Croatian pink wine festival PINK DAY Zagreb has prepared a rich and varied program this time as well, with as many as eight workshops and Masterclasses.

The festival program will also be held in the week before the festival on April 16th and 17th. Masterclass “Rosés of the New World” – powered by PBZ Card Premium Visa & Nexi is scheduled for April 16th at the Bornstein wine bar.

On April 17th, there will be several excellent workshops at the Hungarian Cultural Center – Liszt Institute on the European Square: Masterclass “Hungarian Rosés” – powered by the Hungarian Embassy; workshop “The Elegance of Rosé: Belje Wines and Desserts in the Company of Robert Hromalić” – powered by Belje and the workshop “All about One Glass” – powered by Riedel.

During the festival on April 20th, several workshops will be held in Lauba: the “Olive Oil” workshop powered by JGL, then the masterclass “All About Rosé: Katherine Cole” – powered by the Croatian Tourist Board, which will be held by special guest Katherine Cole, who is arriving from America, and with her book “Rosé All Day” she started a kind of worldwide “rosé wine revolution”. The workshop “Pink Mixology” – powered by Rossi deals with pink cocktails, and there is also an interesting round table “10 Years of Top Olive Growing in Croatia” – powered by HGK (Croatian Chamber of Commerce), moderated by the well-known TV persona Morana Zibar.

The official water of the festival, Romerquelle, will prepare a comfortable lounge where visitors can rest and refresh themselves with Romerquelle water.

Awards for the Most Beautiful Exhibition Spaces

The PINK DAY Zagreb festival will also award the most beautiful exhibition spaces this year, so, during the festival, Lauba will again be bathed in rosé details, flowers, balloons, and decorations… The festival’s partners took care of the prizes for the most creative exhibitors – The Embassy will give away a pink city bicycle, Croatia by the Glass will provide a trip to a wonderful winery, Riedel glasses are provided by Miva Galerija Vina, and, there is also an Ikea package with specially selected pink items.

Given that the festival is held in Lauba – a house for people and art, guests during the festival will be Kolekcionart.com, a digital platform where art lovers can meet many young Croatian artists at any time wherever they are, and buy their works of art, which are then delivered to their home address. Kolekcionart also has a gallery in Zagreb and is preparing an interesting mini-exhibition for Saturday and the Pink Day festival.
