From 17 to 22 April, Fiera Milano Rho will be hosting the 57th edition of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, which will be showcasing the new furniture collections by Bizzotto, an Italian company that is celebrating 45 years in business. Over the years, tradition has intertwined closely with research and experimentation, allowing Bizzotto to come up with projects in line with the latest design trends, always ready to offer bespoke solutions.
Three furniture collections will be presented for the first time at the Salone, each inspired by natural elements and thus highlighting the importance of striking just the right balance with the cosmos and considering design as a way to create perfect harmony between Man and Nature. This is the philosophy underlying Wave, a marvellous sofa and club chair with graceful, inviting lines for a beautifully soft sensation; the striking material appeal of Dune, an eclectic modular sofa with an original curved frame that makes it unforgettable, and the entirely unanticipated, pure shapes of Ikat, another new collection by Bizzotto, with a simple, confident identity that seeks to offer a complete, iconic solution, created not only with the living room design in mind. A key element is undoubtedly the sideboard, in two innovative finishes (with a streaked effect) Flamme blu notte and Flamme terra bruna, colour-coordinated with the bar cabinet, table, TV unit, and modern modular sofa.
The stand is divided into two living areas, two dining areas and an elegant winery corner featuring a wine cabinet designed for refrigeration and a bar counter. These different settings recreate different lifestyles, with a focus on padded furnishings, sofas, and armchairs that create an immediate sensation of comfort and relaxation, with a design based on modular elements versatile enough to meet contemporary living requirements. Contrasting shades with both polished and matt finishes available, complemented by brass inserts.
Touches of light provided thanks to the use of glass and mirror surfaces that create geometries able to shape unique furnishing solutions, in which bespoke craftsmanship tradition blends seamlessly with style. The streaked effects create a material sensation and incredibly original, distinctive, one-off pictorial solutions in which the naturally uneven grain of the wood remains evident.
Experimentation and mixing are the key concepts that allow for a smooth, subtle combination of different materials, just like the perfect, universal balance achieved in Nature by the elements: water, air, earth, and fire.
The finest of materials, premium-quality woods, and sophisticated craftsmanship are the features of Bizzotto furnishings, which highlight all the creative genius Italian-made products are renowned for. The company will be at the Salone del Mobile, in Pavilion 3 XLUX – stand F26.
