Portuguese design firm Laskasas brought to life an apartment by the beach in a small northern city near Oporto – 2017’s best European destination. The end result was a very sleek contemporary home filled with life and incredible Portuguese furniture. Of course, we also have some suggestions of our own, so keep scrolling to know all about it!
Neutral Tones with Vibrant Decorative Details
This interior decor and styling project was carried out by the Portuguese design firm Laskasas and the first thing that it’s truly worth mentioning is how the project stays true to Laskasas signature style. As you scroll down you’ll see a lot of neutral tones that, kissed by the Sun become the center of attention.
The gray palette we can see across the open living room is balanced out with some colorful details and contemporary artwork. This is paired with other yellow and bronze details that set a tone of warmth and light.
The oversized painting we can see in the pictures above gives the room a modern and sophisticated look. The great thing is that when the Sun is setting and all that twilight glow comes through the window, the painting helps to create a warm environment that lasts through the evening.
There is even an interior bonsai garden, creating the perfect balance between modernity and Nature outside.
Finally, the master bedroom design is simple and sophisticated. That elegance is achieved with a neutral color palette mixed with tasteful bold patterns and, of course, two stunning copper table lamps. All in all, we can see that Laskasas signature is present everywhere in this lovely interior: elegance, refinement, and the best materials.
