The ever-graceful movie star purchased an incredibly chic Left Bank home thanks to a romantic tryst, but when that ended her incredible apartment sure stuck around. With soaring ceilings, herringbone floors, soft light, and a certain je ne sais quois, the actress’ apartment makes you fall in love with it. So, step inside Hilary Swank’s Paris apartment and be delighted.
The Left Bank home blends traditional charm and contemporary design. Designed by Axel Huynh, creative director of the 150-year-old French furniture company Henryot & Cie, the space is decorated with a collection of custom furniture from the brand.
Swank and Huynh chose rich royal blue chaise longues and emerald daybeds that are set against an incredible red marble fireplace and eye-catching objets d’art.
A contemporary feel comes by way of moody jewel-inspired colors.
A teal blue wall mimics the color of the sea commands attention in the dramatic dining room. Behold the interesting oyster-shaped lamps in Carrara and Nero Marquina marble by Ginger & Jagger illuminating the space.
A richly ruby upholstered velvet sofa adds a vibrant burst in a black-and-white corner of the living room.
A marble-top desk carves out office space in one corner of the living room.
The bedroom is in simple luxury, where muted tones are interrupted only by a bright cushion or two.
The newly renovated bathroom is lined entirely in Carrara marble. Gypsum lights hew to the monochromatic theme.
