Children’s room is a space of rest, fun, learning and sleeping. When decorating a child’s room it is important to find the right relationships of colors and elements to make the space comfortable for all purposes.
As in any space, the first impression is the most important one – whether the space is pleasant, “visually constricted,” creative or dull. To avoid this last impression, introduce colors to your child’s room. Two basic colors are preferred, and the third may be in details.
Stylish expression of the room is also very important. If there are elements of furniture that are visually dominant, such as rustic furniture, be sure to choose neutral colors like white, cream or gray.
In rooms of a minimalist style, it is allowed to introduce elements that will attract attention with their dynamic shape. This can be a work desk with an organic or polygonal shape or an unusual shelf.
Surface treatment of the units will also draw attention. Wardrobes with a patchwork combination of doors, painted cabinets, large photos or inscriptions on the cabinet fronts are details that will dominate the space.
For all children that don’t like vivid colors or those slightly older we recommend the use of interesting fabric samples that will bring excitement into a room with several details.
It is fashionable to combine the same patterns on the bedding, wallpapers or curtains.
As we can influence space, so does the space affect us – let it be a fun and enjoyable interaction!
